In addition to helping manage research facilities and coordinate the research being conducted at Palmyra Atoll by PARC members, PARC has developed a plan to implement group research efforts that involve multi-institutional collaborations. These projects have been grouped under five overarching themes: biodiversity composition and multiscale connecivity; the role of top predators; lagoon ecology and restoration; terrestrial ecology and restoration; and climate change.
